Diagnosing Dengue Fever
Blood
test of a person is done to check for dengue fever infection under doctor
supervision. If you are sick after arriving from a tropical area, then tell
your doctor. There may be possibility that doctor ask to go for blood test
check for diagnose of dengue fever.
Dengue Fever Prevention
We
can prevent dengue fever disease by preventing bites by infected mosquitoes,
particularly if you are living in or travelling to a tropical area. Preventing
means protecting yourself and using mosquito repellents. Also wearing clothes
to cover the whole body. Staying away from heavily populated residential areas,
if possible.
When
indoors use air conditioning if possible and use mosquito repellent.
Wear
full sleeves t-shirts and pants tucked in socks.
Use
mosquito repellent sprays and creams, mosquito netting.
